Reading With Rover

As an elementary teacher in a previous life, getting kids excited to read was sometimes a challenge. One way that I had personal experience with was the Reading With Rover program. When I taught it was pre-COVID so when I saw that Rover had gone virtual I was thrilled! I know from personal experience that this worked for kids who were hesitant to read to a person but when it was Rover they got so excited to do it! I hope with the reopening of schools that Rover will continue to do his/her great work!
